“Is it safe to keep climbing now that I’m pregnant?” Was this one of the many questions that popped into your head after finding out you were pregnant? Did you struggle to find clear answers—both from your doctor and online? The reality is that there isn’t a lot of research or widely available guidance on climbing during pregnancy. Many people are simply told to stop climbing, with no real explanation as to why…

“Juliana has been incredible. I started seeing her at 24 weeks pregnant after my midwife suggested starting pelvic floor PT. I had a very rough pregnancy and the delivery was also no walk in the park. 6 months postpartum and I’m starting to feel like myself slowly but surely. My core has gotten stronger, my pelvic floor is feeling much better, and while I still struggle with hip pain (yep did I mention delivery was rough?) it’s definitely improved. Juliana has been incredibly helpful and realistic about my exercises knowing that having a baby means finding time is not always easy. The breathing exercises that have helped improve my core and pelvic floor can be done even while feeding my baby. If you’re pregnant and needing pelvic floor PT, or if you’ve already had your baby, I 100% recommend seeing her.” -Noemi H.

So sweet, kind, honest, respectful, and educational. Learning about the pelvic floor is a complicated process and without hesitation Juliana answered my questions even if it was the same question each session. She had multiple methods to help me understand a workout better and described how it can help ease my pain, prep me for birth, and keep me strong during pregnancy.

She helped educate my husband with an at home visit as well. We helped me push myself with strength training and altered the exercises according to at home workouts I was comfortable with. I have had minimal pain and discomfort was eased thanks to the exercises offered and support from Juliana!

As a climber I was eager to stay moving during pregnancy and the movement and exercises provided me with an easier pregnancy and more confidence in my pelvic floor understanding.
